Most of us take for granted the gifts, privileges, opportunities and health that we experience on a day to day basis. To lose a loved one to suicide, cancer, addiction, an accident, mental illness or to struggle with one or more of these ourselves is a deeply heartbreaking experience. This song is a love letter for the heartbroken, to hold on and know that I, and so many others, care and understand. The sun WILL shine again! JRZ

I woke up from a dream with this song in my head and the line "I just need some room to breathe" and finished writing the song within a day (which is a rare for me). Room to Breathe represents the unspoken meaning and healing that we find when we journey into the magnificence of nature and our own true essence. JRZ

So many of us have been blessed with four legged family members and the innocence, soulfulness and unconditional kindness and love they bring into our lives. In so many ways, they lead us into daylight and their loss impacts us deeply. This is a love song dedicated to those guardians of soul who add so much to our lives and remind us of the simple, important things in life. JRZ
